In 2014, the TCPA (Town &
Country Planning Association) revisited the roots of planning, which connect to public health in dealing with the epidemiological consequences of urban development. It produced this really excellent collection of reports and research exploring the subject matter and has started to bring together some of the professionals who need to work together to tackle current challenges. They are tackling issues of providing healthy places and those range from environmental pollution, through primary care provision, to the life style consequences of spatial development.
